
Social scientist seeking short or long term assignments in climate change adaptation / resilience programming, preferably in Asia, Pacific, and Caribbean regions, with an interest in coastal zone management and adaptation in small island developing states. Over 20 years of experience in applied research, management, and evaluation of agricultural and environmental sector programs. Demonstrated ability in planning, design, and implementation of technical assistance activities in climate change adaptation / resilience, food security and vulnerability assessment, NRM, smallholder market systems/value chains, and disaster risk management. Geographical experience in Africa, the Caribbean, South/SE Asia, and the U.S. affiliated Pacific Island region. Native English speaker, French proficiency. Strategic partnerships and donor engagement include USAID, World Bank, IDRC, UNICEF, Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Science Foundation, and numerous international, national, and local NGO/CBOs.
