I am a Independent Fisheries and Aquaculture Consultant with postgraduate studies in Statistics and Impact Evaluation in development. I have overall responsibility for the planning, design, execution, monitoring and evaluation of all the projects at Naunet Fisheries Consultants, a marine consultancy firm based in Norwich (UK). My consultancy works for several NGOs, the fishing industry and other consultancies conducting the evaluation of internatioanld evelopment projects, promoting the sustainable use of marine resources and developing initiatives to improve living conditions in coastal communities in Europe, Asia and Africa. My principal areas of expertise are artisanal and industrial fisheries, blue economy, seafood markets (seafood certifications, value chain analysis, fish processing and marketing, sustainable seafood sources, etc) and rural aquaculture. I have recently completed a course about Impact Evaluation for Evidence-Based Policy in Development at the School of International Development (University of East Anglia) to improve my understanding about Impact evaluation in international projects and I have a very good knowledge about the use of quantitative and qualitative methods to collect biological and socio-economic data; and data analysis.
