Joseph Emmanuel Chiegil is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health, Registered Nurse, Health Educator with over fifteen (15) years progressive experience from three different USAID/PEPFAR funded projects (IMPACT, GHAIN, SIDHAS) and Global Fund (ATM). This experience has earned me excellent diplomatic skills and proven ability evident by the established and sustained professional relationship with donors, partners, stakeholders (private and public), colleagues, and beneficiaries. Dr. Joseph E. Chiegil has experience in designing, overseeing, and managing a national volunteer project (iVolunteer Naija Project, https://www.volunteernaija.com.ng) a private enterprise(/Farm360 Nigeria/Farmers Hub Africa, https://www.farm360.com.ng), coached Nursing students during clinical demonstration and field experience, Commanded troops of over three thousand (3000) officers of the Nigerian Peace Corps, Tutoring over two thousand (2000) community health undergraduates. Dr. Joseph E. Chiegil provides training, capacity building, coordination, partnership support, mentorship, supervision, and technical support to over seven (7)Medical Doctors/Technical Assistants, eighteen (18) coordinating case managers, two hundred and forty four (244) case managers, two hundred (200) community volunteers, fifty (50) community-based organization staffs, over hundred (100) Government of Nigeria staffs, twenty (20) faith based organization staffs and many other civil society organizations to reduce the burden of HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria and provision of humanitarian services. Dr. Joseph E. Chiegil has a core competency in program management, administration, team management, logistics, budgeting, procurement, finance and compliance, Behavioral Change Communication, Nutrition, Gender, OVC, Humanitarian service, TB/HIV, HTS, PMTCT, MNCH, Monitoring and Evaluation, Micro enterprises, Protection, Referral, Health System Strengthening. In My current position as State Team Lead for RISE/USAID and Program Manager for USAID COVID-19 response, I participate in the development of and monitor work plans and budgets; ensures appropriate levels of technical assistance in program operations; coordinates partner efforts in program implementation; ensures appropriate program monitoring and accurate financial and programmatic reporting to the Country Office. Work with the relevant departments to establish and execute a capacity development plan to provide assistance to the state office for effective program planning, implementation and monitoring; Provide overall supervision for RISE/Nigeria state office staff and ensure compliance with technical, programmatic, contractual, and financial requirements set by Jhpiego and its donors; I am Responsible for the overall management and coordination of Jhpiego activities at the state office; Serve as the point of contact of Jhpiego with government officials and coordinate and collaborate with all public sector and NGO partners at the state.
