Julia del Olmo Parrado (She / Her)

Julia is a M.A student of International Human Rights at Josef Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver and pursuing Humanitarian Assistance Certificate. She is passionate about advancing human rights, and advocating for gender equality and children’s rights in complex and challenging environments. Julia is working with the International Rescue Committee resettling newly arrived refugees applying her capabilities, qualifications, and skills in the humanitarian field. Furthermore, Julia has worked as a research assistance for the UN Women integrating the IASC Gender Policy that guides the UN system in promoting gender equality in humanitarian action, and the empowerment of women and girls. Julia is looking for a career in protection helping advance the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and advocating for children's Rights worldwide.
