Summary

I am an expert in intangible heritage, traditional practices, and sustainable development. My vision and practice build on a multidisciplinary approach backed by over 15 years of professional experience with academia, communities, governments, and multilateral organisations. Former project officer at UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Section, I have strong expertise in implementing the 2003 Convention and applying its principles to intervention, research, and advocacy activities. I specially value projects and initiatives aiming at leveraging the potential of traditional knowledge and practices to address the social-environmental challenges of the Anthropocene, while empowering bearers and respective communities.
