 Vast experience, skills, and knowledge across the MEL space and impact measurement; at home with statistics, economics, mixed-methods research approaches and methodologies, and data visualization.  Spearheaded development of theories of change, indicators/metrics, baselines, targets, and M&E systems that meet the needs and priorities of clients and programs in international development and humanitarian programmes.  Developed simple, gender-sensitive/lensed, to-fit, workable, and informative MEL frameworks and approaches, and rigorous impact evaluations, and research methodologies that meet international standards across different sectors - agriculture, trade and finance (including green finance), and cross-cuttings issues – sustainability; environmental, social, and governance (ESG); and gender.  Skilled, and with capacity to process and use information from diverse sources to build evidence to answer the key question: ‘so what?’, and incentivize the use of the evidence.  Built capacities - training, coaching, and mentoring staff/partners, and building data handling infrastructure.  Managed multi-functional teams of up to 20+ staffs and partners to systematically generate, synthesize, share and apply evidence and insights on challenges and progress to drive decisions and practice; and inform future strategies, innovations, and learning in applied environments.  Documented, used, and shared data, results, findings and insights as knowledge products resulting in improved management and programming, data cultures, showcasing of impacts, better reporting and communication, increased visibility and influence, and thought leadership.  Crossed villages, rivers, and valleys; climbed hills; and covered 1,000s of kilometers searching, collecting and analyzing data (including data of up to 10,000 households) in different nooks and crannies of Africa from Burundi through Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Nigeria, Rwanda, Somalia, Tanzania to Uganda: and USA and Japan.
