Kelly grew up in Dallas, Texas and attended Bowdoin College in Maine where she was first introduced to the international development sector. She graduated in 2007 with dual degrees in biochemistry and environmental studies after spending six months in East Africa volunteering with a sustainable development organization. She formally joined the Omprakash team in 2009 to assist with communications and marketing strategy.
