I am working in the Gambia as a program officer in the occupational and safety unit in the ministry of Health director of public health services most of my duties as an occupational health and safety involve development of projects,concept note,Improve environmental and occupational health and safety for both employers and employee at work place, Improve occupational health and safety practices at work, Reduce and eliminate hazards at work Water sanitation and Hygiene to Provide communities with water sanitation and hygiene safety practices Advocacy and community sanitation on clean water safety practices  Environmental Emergency management,Surveillance and Environmental Inspection. The authority to act as the safety coordinator and will be responsible for initiating and driving all safety and health strategies on behalf of the Ministry of health.Policy making
