Lanice Williams

Lanice Williams has over 8 years of experience managing and creating innovative development programs while implementing strategic research for high-growth sectors. Ms. Williams has completed academic and research exchange in Cuba where she studied health and health equity. With her experience, Ms. Williams has demonstrated exceptional communication, both oral and written, and effective critical thinking skills to provide assistance and guidance in strategic planning, design, and implementation of various programs and projects. Ms. Williams has superior project management, research and evaluation, and consensus-building skills. She has a proven record of accomplishment in content and project management, problem solving, relationship cultivation, monitor and evaluation, policy and advocacy. Ms. Williams received a Master’s degree in Health Education and a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Howard University. She is dedicated to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), human rights, women and youth leadership and empowerment, gender equality, and ending gender-based violence. Currently, she serves as the Chair for the Young Professionals Program with United Nations Association-National Capital Area (UNA-NCA) and a member of the American Public Health Association.
