Summary

I am a senior WASH professional having MSc Degree in Water Resource Engineering and Management and BSc Degree in Water Resource_(Irrigation Engineering from Hawassa and Arbaminch Universities respectively . I have more than 16 years professional experience in UN Agencies, INGOs, and GOs in the emergency and development projects planning, implementation and management from which the last 8 years in purely emergency response related areas. For the last 8 years, I was fully engaged in Emergency WASH Sector which includes, cluster coordination & participation, emergency assessment & concept note development, Emergency projects implementation and management of responses in the International Rescue Committee Ethiopia Program and fully responsible for the overall managements of emergency response projects in SNNPR. I led deployment team for different emergency related responses including, conflict, flooding, drought, diseases outbreak (Cholera). These assignments helped me to get very good experience of personal management and team building and usually rated high performer of the organizations I had also been also led the zonal WASH Cluster coordination forum (emergency WASH response for IDPs/ returnees) in West Guji zone since September 2019 to December 31, 2019. I am currently working as Emergency WASH Consultant for UNICEF Ethiopia
