Lonjezo holds an MSc Degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics with a major in Environmental and Natural Resource Management obtained from the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) and the University of Pretoria (UP). He has research and data analysis experience spanning from survey design and management, data management and analysis, monitoring and evaluation, impact evaluation, and capacity building. He has worked on several research consultancies in the agricultural, health, social-economic, and environmental sectors for reputable institutions, including but not limited to the Alliance for Bioversity and International Centre for Tropical Agriculture, USAID-Feed the Future, Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR), GIZ, World Relief, and World Vision. He possesses commendable skills in Computer Assisted Personal Interviews (ODK, Survey CTO, and Kobo Collect) programming as well as data management and analysis tools (STATA, Python, Excel, and R), enabling him to provide reliable results and interpretation through both layman’s presentations and scientific writing.
