Currently studying MSc Violence, Conflict and Development at SOAS, University of London. Most recent employment was in a Marketing, communications and publishing role at Hospice UK, through the CharityWorks social leadership development programme. I graduated in Modern Languages at Newcastle University, achieving First-Class Honours. Since graduating, I have worked as a Project Manager at a global translation agency, where I improved my organisation, teamwork and budgeting skills. I also spent 10 weeks as a Junior Business Consultant in Uganda, where I trained in business and marketing basics and showed great flexibility, resilience and cross-cultural working skills. My degree equipped me with a huge variety of skills, notably verbal and written communication, teamwork and problem solving. I was fortunate to spend a year living and working abroad, firstly as an English Language Teaching Assistant in France then a Voluntary Social Worker in Ecuador. These experiences show my adaptability, proactive attitude and resilience. Before university, I spent 2 months interning at Henry Martyn Institute, Hyderabad, India. Exploring different countries has broadened my cultural sensitivity and global outlook, and I am keen to use my skills in a role with positive social impact at home or internationally.
