After working at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital with the Program in Global Surgery and Social
Change for two years, I undertook an MSc in Nutrition for Global Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical
Medicine, which included fieldwork in rural Gambia. In parallel, I worked as a visiting research fellow with the Institute
of Cancer Policy in London on global cancer economics programs. Prior to returning to the US, I worked as a volunteer
at Chitwan Medical College Teaching Hospital in Nepal. Since returning to the USA, I have been working at Tufts
Medical Center as an Executive Assistant, and with Tufts University School of Medicine's Center for Global Public Health
as Lead Administrator. I also volunteer as the COO for The 1789 Fund, a recently-founded NGO that focuses on
improving the health and safety of mothers and newborns in rural Nepal. I am seeking a path into the humanitarian
sector that ties in my existing skillset and both career and personal interests, particularly regarding context-specific
education and applications in fragile settings.
