Mark Kiarie

I am a holder of Masters of Business Administration Finance option from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology. I am also a holder of Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Kenya Methodist University. I am a certified public accountant of Kenya. My 15 years working experience with WWF Kenya, WWF Zambia and African Technology Policy Studies Network (ATPS) at various levels has been a great time of my life, enabling me to effectively realize and effectively utilize my potential. I oversaw all the direct fiscal controls with immediate responsibility for day-to-day operations such as; • Overall in-charge of Oracle R12 business suite for WWF-Kenya & WWF Zambia • Preparing and reviewing donor financial reports and addressing issues raised • Preparation of annual donor budgets, forecasts and uploading in Oracle • Supervisory and performance management of subordinates. • Creating monthly forecasting reports and financial statements • Evaluating the financial position through correct analysis of every monthly income statement, quarterly revenue and expense report • Making sure that there is accurate and timely processing of A/R and A/P activities • Maintaining asset register and ensuring assets are secure and insured. • Coordinating annual internal audits for ensuring compliance • Year-end consolidations, Intercompany reconciliations, preparation of audit schedules • Regular review and development of policies in Finance, HR & Administration I believe my mature disposition, good team spirit, initiative, willingness to learn and positive attitude towards challenging situations will contribute towards greater achievement.
