I have 20 years of professional experience, with a background in business leadership, philanthropic management and international social entrepreneurship. The first 15 years were in brand management for Target Corporation, with my last role in brand management as the General Manager of one of Target's one-billion dollar business units, leading a total team of 75 persons. My last five year's experience have been as Director, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability for Target Corp. In this role, I managed a team responsible for a $100 Million philanthropic portfolio. In this role, I also I led Target's effort to rewrite its CSR and Sustainability strategy to be more business aligned. Additionally, for the last five years, I have also been the Founder and CEO of Global Poverty Advisors, an international consulting firm for social entrepreneurs. In this role, I have worked with my client's CEOs and Board of Directors, helping them plan and achieve a new, ambitious vision of social and business impact. Lastly, with 80 percent of my clients, I have also served as an active Board member.
