Summary

I am a Public Health Engineer with strong background on environmental health sciences; I have more than 20 years of experience in WASH sector in Tanzania with extensive skills in sanitation, hygiene, environmental health, health promotion, program planning, monitoring and evaluation. I have long experience in working with Central and Local Governments in Tanzania. I addition to working with Local and Central Government I also have experience in
working with International NGOs; i.e. International Trachoma Initiative (ITI) from 2003 – 2005, WaterAid Tanzania from 2009 – 2013, and currently with SNV from April 2014 as Senior Advisor on Sanitation and Hygiene. I have been among key resource persons in WASH
sector in Tanzania providing regular advice to the on-going Water Sector Development Program (WSDP) which includes the National Sanitation Campaign. I am the author of the modified CLTS approach known as Mtumba Participatory Approach
which has been tested and proven to be quite effective for rural Sanitation promotion in Tanzania. I have long experience in leadership, program planning and management in WASH sector. I have worked extensively on proposal writing and fund raising.
