My professional experience spans across the African continent working in the development sector for over seven years within the civil society, private sector and the United Nations System. I have been involved in, and managed multifaceted programs/projects within my career which has provided me with hands on experience and an understanding of various technical requirements within the Youth Leadership Development, Devolved Governance, Gender Mainstreaming and Social Inclusion sectors. I have worked closely with people from diverse sectors in ensuring that objectives are not only met in an efficient, timely and ethical manner, but within budget. I am passionate about Youth Leadership Development and Communications for Development (C4D). I am an expert in communications and external relations through which I support organizations and networks to strengthen their communications for sustainable development by defining communication strategies, developing creative concepts for different communication channels and audiences, ensuring quality control and enhancing communication skills and practices for both internal and external communication. I am a firm believer in the power of communications and public advocacy as an authoritative tool in challenging social norms and highlighting social issues. I am also skilled in project management and Knowledge Management, through which I support organizations in documenting, creating, sharing and making the best use of their knowledge and information to achieve the organizational objectives.
