Martin Aguirre

Martin is an Agriculture Engineer from Argentina, with a Master Degree in Postharvest Physiology from Chile University. He has been involved in the fresh produce sector for the last 25 years with a focus on post-harvest handling, operations and commercial aspects of the business. His professional experience in the fresh produce industry has developed over his career across countries as diverse as Argentina, USA, Chile, South Africa, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan and Kuwait. His main specialty is to set postharvest operations to add value in the supply chain of fruits and vegetables, and he has being involved in different private companies along his career. Back in 2011 he joined the Abu Dhabi Farmers Service Centre (ADFSC) as Commercial & Operations Director.
