Summary

I am confident that my academic qualifications, MA in Sustainable Development, six years of professional experience with UNHCR, UNDP, NGO and JICA as a programme officer, and competencies make me the most suitable candidate for this advertised position. I had engaged with development work for several years at both representation office and field office. At UNHCR field office, I have involved in a role directly involved with managing all programme issues in Meheba refugee settlement as Associate Programme Officer cooperating with Senior Programme Officer and Representative in Lusaka Office in Zambia. Also, I have managed the development of a broad network of national government partners (MCDSS, MOGE, MHA, DWRD, and MOH), good coordination practices and the development of partner capacities. At representation office, I assisted in managing the development of a broad network of NGO partners (AAH, Care International, Plan International, World Vision) in relate with Mantapala settlement, good coordination practices and the development of partner capacities. Also, I assisted in implementing the establishment of sound monitoring processes, in reviewing final reports and on progress in order to advise on any corrective actions required or the need for additional resources to reach planned target levels. I engaged in these tasks through collaboration with other partners. In representation offices, I participated in various partners meetings with bilateral institutions to coordinate various activities, such as joint planning and evaluation, with various UN organizations, such as WFP, FAO, and UNICEF. My knowledge and experience are not limited to programme management in developing countries. I worked for emergency response issues. At NGO in Japan, I have participated as a member of task teams of emergency relief and recovery project in Philippine, Chile, Haiti, and Thailand. I supported to prepared proposals for grant from Japan Platform and budget plan of the project and support counterpart coordination activities with partner and prepare the project. I created final budget report of the project to donor and achieved tangible results in proceeding proper emergency activities in local areas. I have enough variety and level of competency for this post. In the field office, I often supported government officials with face-to-face meetings. These experiences have enriched me with my client oriented working attitude with government agencies. At representation office, I provide programme support to the field office and the colleagues. I enhanced competency in learning and knowledge sharing by these experiences. Through several years working experiences in international organization, I could enrich me with many valuable skills such as communicating and relating to people on the personal level in complex environments under pressure and develop me an indispensable skill of working as a team member such as effective problem solving and capacity for constructive feedback.
