I am a motivated young professional looking to begin a career in international development, youth education, or foreign policy. For the past two years I have served as a City Year AmeriCorps member in Washingto DC, fighting to improve the educational opportunities for under-served youth. I currently plan, schedule and implement training sessions designed to maximize the impact of 155 Corps Members serving in 13 schools in DC. Last year I tutored and mentored 8th grade students at Kelly Miller Middle School. I graduated with a BA in Political Science and Law, Societies, and Justice from the University of Washington in 2013. I am currently enrolled in the Master's program at American University's School of International Service, expected to graduate in 2017.
