I have eighteen years of professional experience in the field of development sector and five years’ experience in the field of research. During the working period, I worked for program Implementation, coordination, training and capacity building, Policy barrier and Advocacy on different aspects of sexual and reproductive health issues focus on family planning. I have also experience in the field if HIV/AID prevention program. I started my career with a renowned research organization Mitra & Associates and works for 5 years.
At present, I hold the position of District Coordinator-partnership, advocacy and policy of EngenderHealth Bangladesh. My key responsibilities are to coordinate and advocate for strengthening and institutionalizing family planning (FP) programming through the Directorate General of FP (DGFP) and other collaborative partners at the local level. I have to liaison with various project teams, development partners, the government, Civil Society, Political persons and private sector and non-governmental organization (NGO) partners at different level. I supervise Program Office, Assistant Program Officer, Consultants, and Partners Organization. I am also responsible for making the service available through capacity building, facility readiness, advocacy for policy change to make environment enable for service provision, create demand for service provision, initiate and expand services to public, private sector and NGOs.
I have been working in close collaboration with Directorate General of Family Planning and Directorate General of Health service. I am very much familiar to work with NGOs providing health services. Have experience to implement activities through partnership with different partners and stakeholders.
