Melino Ndayizigiye

Medical Doctor with a Master of Sciences in Global Health Delivery from Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. I am currently working for Partners In Health (PIH) Lesotho, a Non-Profit Organization as Executive Director, leading the organization employing over 440 staff and over 1,000 village health workers working in 10 districts towards achieving better results in all its programs including primary health service delivery in hard to reach areas, health reform of the Lesotho health system and Multi Drug Resistant Tuberculosis programs. I am part of the Strategic Advisory Group for the WHO foundation and other technical working groups within Partners In Health globally and in the ministry of health including national oxygen task force, TB, HIV, Mental Health and health system strengthening. Multicultural skills: Have multiple experiences working with different people including clinical and non-clinical teams from all over the world, leading large health projects and clinical programs, treating patients in a wide variety of cultural settings and supporting governments in designing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of clinical programs. Professional Skills: Possess extensive management experience in government, international non-profit organizations and private sector health care including health program designs, health care quality improvement, proposals development for funding, projects implementation and impact evaluation. Have extensive experience in overall Health System Strengthening (HSS) and leading health reforms and mobilizing resources for health projects in low and middle income countries Have also led community health programs implementation in different countries for over 15 years. Have extensive experience in research designs, implementation and manuscript writing and I am a guest lecturer at Harvard Medical School's Master of Medical Sciences program where I teach Mixed Methods research and health projects management.
