Capacity building in Southeast Asia has been my main, but not only, area of activity for the past 17 years. Before that, I owned and operated a security and investigation firm for 15 years. My professional career started in 1974 and I was a police officer for over 24 years. I specialized in criminal investigation, protective security, counter-terrorism and reached the rank of Detective Inspector.
