I have spent the past 25 years working for USAID. During that time, I have been on about 50 TDYs to countries around the world designing programs to strengthen local governance. My work has focused on the legal and regulatory framework which governs what local governments are responsible for and capacity-building at the local level for local government officials as well as local NGOs which interface with local authorities.
