I teach Microbiology at the Florida International University, Miami, Florida. My expertise is in Environmental Microbiology; using microbes to get a useful product. Publication record: over 100 published papers. I also own the company Algaessence, LLC, which manufactures and markets cosmetic and health products based on algae and seaweed.
