I have 21 years experience in Research and M&;E related jobs, 4 years in CARE Bangladesh. I have completed MSc in statistics from Ball State University, IN,USA.

Experienced working in both qualitative and quantitative research projects, designing monitoring framework including log frame, monitoring indicators.

I worked in research areas as such, climate change, education, monitoring and evaluation, poverty assessment, mental health and early childhood development etc. I worked in the Monitoring and Evaluation of projects as HIV, HIV and migration. Lead small scale research projects by developing concepts and conducted small scale researches. Developed ToR and concept note of research conducted through consultant and participated in research design as such end line and evaluation of EMPHASIS project. Developed policy briefs in collaboration with research partner ODI.Presented research and monitoring findings in national and regional forum.

Have experience applying different PRA techniques in qualitative monitoring and research work. Additionally developed data bases (ACCESS), analyzed large scale quantitative data and produced reports.

Managed research partner (Overseas Development Institute), managed research consultants, supervised partner NGO’s and handled monitoring and research related procurements and consultant.

Proficient in software applications as SPSS, SAS, Minitab, MS office Suite.

Currently working in Enhancing Mobile Populations’ Access to HIV and AIDS Services ,Information and Support (EMPHASIS) a regional project implemented by CARE in Bangladesh ,India and Nepal, from 2011 in two different capacities (M&E Manager and Regional Research Manager). Besides three country teams the project has a regional secretariat based in Nepal. Working as the Regional Research Manager (based in Bangladesh), since July 2012. Besides HIV and Migration the project has a special focus on women to reduce women’s vulnerability to migration and HIV.
