Brief Profile  More than 22 years of leadership in the not-for profit sector, providing supportive supervision to large and multi-location teams for project and program management including a large portfolio on humanitarian, livelihoods and HIV / AIDS programming.  Proven ability for strategic thinking, negotiations and change management at global, national and local levels.  Results oriented leader with skills for leading high quality program management, advocacy and influencing for human rights, gender equality and access to basic services for the poor;  Knowledge and experience of inclusive development for girls’ rights, community health, education, livelihoods, pro-poor safety nets, total sanitation and disaster risk management.  15+ years of Senior Management experience in International and National NGO settings, and 5 years of Governance experience as Vice-Chair and Chair of the Sphere India Network.  Knowledge and experience of designing, negotiating and implementing projects from institutional donors e.g. GFATM, EC, USAID, DFID, SIDA; and Foundations e.g. BMGF, Human Dignity Foundation, Oak Foundation, Axis Bank Foundations, Tata Trust and BP;  Leadership experience of designing and negotiating individual giving products for Child sponsors, philanthropists and high net worth donors;  Leading measurement, evaluation and research teams to complete project evaluations, action researches; and authored policy papers for national and global platforms.  Proven ability to work in and lead horizontal working groups and taskforces at the national and global levels to achieve organizational objectives;  Member of several professional networks and bodies; and have received several awards and recognitions at local, national and global levels;  Have led the development of 12 training manuals e.g. participatory rural appraisals, listening to people in poverty, job oriented vocational training, prevention of child labour and likes;  Possesses outstanding communication skills and have been driving project innovations at various levels.  Promotes participatory and inclusive leadership style thus bolstering collaborative work environment and motivate teams to all round success.
