A pro-poor activist, with a research interest at the nexus of social mobility, innovation, and inclusive growth. Mohsen lives & leads with simplicity, authenticity, and accountability. Mohsen is the CEO of the Egyptian Food Bank, the leading Food Bank in the region, and the inspiration behind more than 88 food banks globally. Previously, he was the CEO of Kheir Wa Baraka - a national nonprofit with a team of 250+ development professionals. Additionally, Mohsen serves on the directorship committee of the Association of Fundraising Professionals as President for the MENA Chapter. Mohsen speaks, teaches, and consults on strategic management for public organizations, corporate social responsibility strategy, fundraising, diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Cairo University, a GD in International Markets from the Arab Academy, and two Master degrees from The American University in Cairo and Harvard Kennedy School of Government in the US, both in Public Administration. Mohsen is married with two sons. Deeply invested in strength and endurance sports, he participated in several international marathons, and he coaches an amateur powerlifting team.
