I am a Medical Doctor with a postgraduate degree in Public Health from Sweden and over 17 years of experience in humanitarian and emergency health across eight countries and three continents. I have worked with leading organizations such as WHO, UNFPA, IRC, International Medical Corps, and CARE International, responding to major crises including those in Syria, Yemen, South Sudan, Libya, Afghanistan, North Korea, and Pakistan. I’ve held senior technical and managerial roles, overseeing multi-million-dollar donor-funded programs (FCDO, USAID, ECHO, UN agencies, and others) with expertise in program design, implementation, budget and HR management, emergency response, and team leadership. My core technical focus is on Sexual and Reproductive Health in Emergencies, with strong experience in cross-sector integration involving Nutrition, WASH, Education, and Livelihoods. I have collaborated extensively with Ministries of Health to strengthen systems and develop emergency preparedness strategies and policies. My work has included strategic planning, capacity building, and developing guidelines at both organizational and national levels
