Natalia Ribas-Mateos is affiliated researcher with the CERAO-“Arab Spring project” (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). She is now working on the production of the book “Spaces of Refugee Flight: Migration and Mobilities after the Arab Spring in the Eastern Mediterranean” (edited for Edward Elgar Publishers) and Coordinating the Conference “Refugee on the move. Thinking beyond the Euro-Mediterrean crisis” (CER MIGRACIONS UAB). She is a FONDECYT visiting researcher in Chile (a project on border crossing) with the UNAP University. Her latest scholarly work includes the books, “Border Shifts. New Mobilities in Europe and beyond” (Palgrave Macmillan/Frontiers of Globalization, 2015), “A la sombra de la Movilidad. Conexiones y Desconexiones desde un valle de Yebala (Marruecos) Ed. Cantarabia 2015, “Tanger, Maroc. La sociologie d´une ville frontière.
