Natasha Beale

I am the Program Manager for the Technology and Development research portfolio at the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) at the University of California, Berkeley. I manage the Development Impact Lab, part of the USAID funded Higher Education Solutions Network; the USAID MERLIN funded ERIE project focused on using geospatial data for retrospective impact evaluations; and the newly established Digital Credit Observatory (DCO), an initiative supported by the Gates Foundation to evaluate the impact of digital credit in emerging markets. I have a strong academic foundation and hold a B.A. in International Relations from USC and an MPhil in Development Studies from Oxford.
