Over 30 Years of work experience in different organizations and sectors; more relevant to this assignment is my 20+ years of practical and professional work experience in the planning, design, development, implementation and management of IT solutions and projects. My most recent/current assignment on Project Management and as Manager of the IBEX/IFMIS PMO involves the pilot and full-scale roll out implementation of an Oracle ERP based 9-module (GL, AP, AR, CE, PSB, Purchasing, Inv, FA, Payroll)) Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) in the Ministry of Finance, Ethiopia. The procurement, acquisition, customization, enhancement, rollout, capacity building, change management and communication, quality assurance, infrastructure management and contract management are the major subjects in the scope of the project. The rollout of IFMIS to 180 Public bodies was concluded successfully. A parallel project management initiative I lead in the Ministry of Finance is component I of the "Public Finance Management (PFM) project - P150922", financed by the WB/IDA. It involves close to 20 ICT activities clustered under ICT goods and services, Capacity building and consultancy services.
