Summary

Nicole Lehto, M.A. is a driven young professional with 5 years experience in project implementation. She previously worked at the NGO FHI 360 on implementing US-funded contracts in Middle East and Sub-Saharan African countries. She currently works at USAID's Bureau for Resilience and Food Security Office of Country Support where she focuses on primarily conflict-affected and high risk countries. Nicole is interested in continuing work in sustainable development and building resilience in conflict-affected countries but wishes to expand her technical experience to areas in P/CVE, peace building, and integrated development particularly youth conflict resolution. She graduated with a Masters of International Relations (International Negotiation and Conflict Resolution) at American University's School of International Service in May 2020. Ms. Lehto continues to improve her administrative, programmatic, and technical skills including by attaining the Project Management for Development Professionals (PMD Pro) certification and taking USAID certified trainings on conflict sensitive development, resilience, nutrition, and WASH and is open to new opportunities to challenge herself in a professional setting.
