Nidhi Khurana

I am a health systems researcher working at the intersection of evidence and policy to further health systems strengthening and policy development goals for country-level health systems. I hold a Master of Science in Public Health with a focus on International Health Systems from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. My experience spans across public health domains, including reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (RMNCAH), universal health coverage, the development impacts of sanitation, and road safety in the context of the SDG agenda. I have more than a decade of global health experience entailing policy analysis, economic analysis, monitoring and evaluation and institutional capacity building, as well as knowledge translation stints with the WHO Foundation, World Bank, international think tanks, governments (federal and state), global vaccine advocacy and academic research institutions across settings. As a part of the graduate program in international health, I earned a certificate in public health economics and focused on coursework in health policy and health financing in low- and middle-income countries. Additionally, I undertook coursework in sustainable development at the Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies. Coming to global health from the business strategy world, I hold a Master of Business Administration degree and have growth consulting and market intelligence experience spanning more than eight years. In this phase, I provided incisive knowledge inputs to inform business decision making for a spectrum of Fortune 500 clients, including health insurers and boutique healthcare consulting firms.
