Mr. Nikos Giannoulidis is an experienced research project manager and consultant. He has personally overseen the coordination of numerous projects funded under the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Framework R&D Programmes (FP5, FP6 and FP7), the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme (CIP) and the South- East Europe Programme, gaining key insight and expertise in delivering capacity building services to R&D actors for the promotion of FP participation. A highly experienced Project Manager, Nikos ensured successful execution of activities under the FP5, FP6 and FP7 projects, IST Mentor, IST Mentor+, LSH-ACC Mentor, SAFE and RAF Regions (the latter focusing on the food sector). He has actively managed activities implemented under the Tristan East and STARNet projects, also funded under the Framework Programme, and he has undertaken trainings and one-to-one consultations of multipliers in various EU caountries.
His expertise in the management of EU-funded R&D projects under the FP and CIP initiatives is further reinforced by a significant track record in the management of EU Technical Assistance (EuropeAid) projects in Bulgaria, Malta and Azerbaijan. Mr. Giannoulidis holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and graduate degrees in both Environmental Impact Assessment, Auditing & Management Systems and Quality Management.
