Noman Ali has 19 years’ of working experience in Economic Growth, SME Development, Value Chain Development, Business Development Services, Livelihood development and Technical training with a keen focus to strengthen Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) through the effective utilization of their knowledge, skills and business assets etc. The purpose of my professional career is to deliver economic & social profits to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises at national and international levels. My career objective is to act and facilitate MSMEs of Pakistan as an “Effective and Proactive Change Agent” to empower the MSME sector of Pakistan as well as on international grounds. Furthermore, the experience of SME development, Business Development Services, Livelihood Development and Value Chain Development is focused on establishing an appropriate framework(s) or business model(s) by prioritizing policy, business development services, access to market, access to finance and or through infrastructure support to the private sector across the globe. As an SME and value chain development practitioner, I am more focused on identifying and implementing demand-driven mechanisms/business models to create economic freedom amongst micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in industrial and agriculture sectors. My areas of interest in the developing world are focused on MSME development, Economic sectors productivity enhancement, Agri and Non-Agri Value Chain Development, Business development services penetration in SME market, Sectors value chain assessments, access to market, access to finance and strategy formulation for forward & backward integrations for increased economic outputs at SME level. The extract of my services for SME development and economic growth can be summarized under the following domains; •Providing knowledge sharing and learning opportunities on the development of sustainable value chains and economic growth initiatives. •Assisting government and private sector stakeholders in analyzing value chains and appraising market opportunities and intervention options. •Facilitating dialogue for sectoral value chains among value chain players, network partners, BDS providers and Government authorities. •Providing guidance and capacity building on sustainable industrial and agriculture value chains. •Supporting studies on the impacts of integrating small and medium enterprises into value chains. •Analyzing the impacts of voluntary standards and their potential contributions to sustainable and inclusive value chains. •Efforts to increase the accessibility of SMEs towards new market and financing opportunities.
