Olivier Vandenbussche

Olivier Vandenbussche is an international project manager with more than 20 years experience in development including 7 years experience in designing, managing and monitoring EU projects and more than 7 years experience in designing and monitoring EU Budget Support operations with a focus on reviews for tranche disbursements. Olivier has a large experience in project management, project assessment, project analysis including financial and economic reviews and studies. Olivier has also an extensive experience in the design and monitoring of budget support operations of the European Union that require regular and critical analysis of public policies, sector policies under budget support of the partner countries. Olivier has carried out these regular reviews in support of institutions of several partner countries' such as Ukraine, Tajikistan, Serbia, Namibia and Tanzania. Olivier has high level experience in support to Partner Government institutions (including Ministry of Finance, Office of the President) and EU Officials in designing, formulating and monitoring sector policies and budget support operations. He also has extensive professional experience in designing and delivering of trainings in support to the EU Officials (EcoFin, PCM and Budget Support helpdesks to the EU Commission) in HQ and EU Delegation worldwide including Aid Effectiveness, Budget Support, Public Finance Management assessment, Financial & Economic Analysis, Business Planning, M&E (Monitoring & Evaluation), Private Sector Development (PSD), Risk Management, Knowledge Management, Financial Management and Project Management.
