• 20+ years of experience in Project Management focusing on agribusiness development, strategic and business planning, small business development, competitiveness, and inclusive economic growth strategies in developing countries in Africa including Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Mozambique, Zambia, Malawi, Ghana, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and Mali. • 10+ years of applicable work in the agribusiness and inclusive agricultural supply chains in African countries. • Experience with donor-funded projects including Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID, Irish Aid, Gatsby, Wellspring, MCC. • Supported AGRA's change management program that operationalized 7 country business plans and supported the review and revamp of key business processes, organizational culture, as well as talent and performance management. • As Program Officer at AGRA, worked with grantees to design and implement projects that support private sector agribusiness companies to build inclusive supply chains, reduce post-harvest losses, and build an ecosystem for agricultural transformation. • As Regional Program Manager for a soy value chain program, worked with agribusiness companies such as Cargill and Mount Meru Millers, Golden Lay, Alif Quemica, Abilio Antunes, SeedCo, and Pannar to improve market access for 37,000 farmers in Southern Africa, increase soybean yields by 10% and incremental farmers' annual income from US$ 91 in 2009 to US$ 337 in 2012 in Mozambique and US$ 103 in 2009 to US$ 306 in 2012 in Zambia. • As Deputy Country Director for Tanzania, managed agricultural value chain programs and developed M&E systems. • As Director of Agricultural Value Chains, operationalized cocoa fermentation centers and horticultural market service centers that increased the productivity by 10% and quality that translated into a 20% increase in price. • As Senior Business Manager, championed the introduction of contract farming in the Tanzanian cotton industry.
