Oumar Toure

Seasoned Senior Financial Management and Audit professional with more than 20 years of experience, mostly in sub-Saharan Africa. He came to ICAP from the World Bank in Cote d’Ivoire where since 2012 he served as a Senior Consultant responsible for the supervision of financial management and internal audit for the Bank’s portfolio of projects in Cote d’Ivoire. From 2005 to 2009, he served as Senior Audit Officer at the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) in Zimbabwe, an international NGO that supports capacity building projects and programs submitted by governments and non-state actors across Africa, through investments and technical assistance. He also assumed several senior positions in reputable companies like Ernst & Young, Bouygues group and British American Tobacco (BAT). As Finance and Administration Director of ICAP Cote d’Ivoire, Mr. Toure has demonstrated strong familiarity and command of CDC regulations and compliance, as well as supervisory and management skills. He has equally showed excellent computer skills and experience in developing and interpreting standard financial reports. Oumar holds an MBA from the Business School of Abidjan (ESCA) with concentration in Finance & Accounting and is fluent both in French and English.
