Palak is a strategic and hardworking natural leader in international development fueled by her commitment to aid the world’s most disadvantaged groups of people, including women, children, and displaced and low-income individuals, especially in the Middle East and South Asia. As a recent graduate from the Master of Foreign Service program at Georgetown University, she is actively looking for full-time opportunities to further expand her knowledge on these issues and make an impact. Her areas of interest and expertise include gender issues, education development, and refugee and IDP issues. Specifically, she has worked in girls’ education, gender-based violence, anti-human trafficking, women’s health and economic empowerment, sustainable development, counterterrorism, fragile states, economic growth, access to justice, stabilization, and children’s rights and protection.
