Pascal W. Odoch, a PhD. holder funded by the prestigious International Development Research Centre (IDRC), Ottawa, Canada, is an accomplished and seasoned community economic development expert, having wide and cumulative international and regional experience spanning over 25 years. He holds a PhD in Education (building economic empowerment module in Paulo Freire’s Pedagogy of the Oppressed Doctrine) from University of British Columbia, Canada. He understands how the Private, Public and Civil Society sectors work having served at various capacities in all domains over the years as an Area Member of Parliament in Uganda, a Director appointed by a Ugandan Head of State onto a Statutory Agency, and as a Director of Civil Society Organisations. Dr. Odoch who is a Visiting Scholar at the University of Lusaka, Zambia, http://www.unilus.ac.zm/Scholars.aspx, has been at the fore-front of the crusade for socio-economic transformation in Eastern and Southern Africa. He has mostly driven this fight through his Greenstar International Ltd – a Consultancy firm where he is the Managing Director. With over 14 years of senior management experience and over 10 years of governance and boardroom experience, Dr. Odoch is one of the most experienced middle-aged experts in the East African region. This wealth of experience and exposure explains why he has been sought after to serve on various national governing boards. Dr. Odoch is a high caliber expert with proven track record and who has cumulatively undertaken a series of assignments at international, national and regional levels in qualitative and qualitative designs. His key output under assessment of Uganda’s Economic Governance Pillar of the Africa Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) led by Professor Adebayo Adedeji, fed into Agenda 2030 which are both critical in shaping the continental and national development landscapes.
