Patric Mugumya Katuramu

Mr. Katuramu is a highly skilled qualified engineer with 20 years’ experience of practical and consultancy engineering experience. He has worked on and managed several consultancy assignments for feasibility, design and construction supervision of water supply and sanitation projects for African governments and institutions in countries like; e.g. Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, South Sudan, Zambia, Tanzania, Sudan, Ethiopia and Somaliland. Having gone through the ranks from a Technician, Engineer and Project Manager / Team leader. With a Diploma in Water Engineering, BEng degree in Building and Civil engineering, and his vast experience in developing countries, He has a full understanding of the full life cycle of a water and sanitation projects in north and sub-Saharan Africa. He provides exceptional and tailor made contributions to the success of a project for his clients, donor partners (World Bank/IFC/WSP, KfW, AfDB, BADEA, EU, EIB, AfD, DANIDA, ADC, USAID), and beneficiary stakeholders. Patric has a very good understanding of urban and rural infrastructure, feasibility studies and detailed design, costing, tender document preparation and familiar with FIDIC / PRAG / EBRD procurement procedures, construction supervision; management of infrastructure, including billing and revenue collection and operation and maintenance of the facilities. He also has excellent experience in the decentralisation process; capacity building and training, Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), Resettlement Action Plans (RAP), community mobilisation, and used training tools for structuring and management of seminars, workshops and large meetings.
