More than 15 years professional experience working with the United Nations, private companies and Government of New Zealand on democratic governance; rule of law; political analysis; security and justice; and independent monitoring. Significant experience as a public policy and development adviser drafting high level strategic policy and robust business cases backed by excellent oral and written communication skills. Practical experience in South Asia, the Middle East, and East Asia. Recognised as a Deployable Civilian Expert by the Stabilisation Unit of the Government of the United Kingdom and a member of a variety of international expert rosters, including with the United Nations Department of Political Affairs, Department of Peacekeeping Operations and United Nations Development Programme.
