I speak a variety of local languages, Ndebele/Zulu, Shona, Kalanga, Tonga and English. I have basic knowledge of French which I am enhancing through studies. I also hold a valid Zimbabwean passport. Since November 2002 l have been working for the UN World Food Programme in Zimbabwe as Senior Programme Assistant Operations for Matabeleland Province. I have been in charge of all operations at the Sub Office, tracking commodities, supervising 17 Field Monitors and 2 Programme Assistants. In 2003-4, l was in charge of Monitoring and Evaluation at the Bulawayo Sub Office. I have undergone various UN short training courses during this time on Monitoring and Evaluation, Security Awareness, Sexual Harassment and Abuse of Power, HIV and AIDS Care and Counselling, Gender and HIV and AIDS and Male Empowerment, Management of Vulnerable Group Feeding as well as Nutrition and WFP Programming. I have worked in an emergency, Corporate Level 3 in South Sudan as a Team Leader of the Emergency Response Teams. I am currently the Head of the Bulawayo of the Bulawayo sub office in Zimbabwe, a position l have held since March 2012. I hold a Masters of Business Leadership (MBL) with the School Of Business Leadership, University of South Africa (UNISA) (2014) Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in History (1987) and a Graduate Certificate in Education with the University of Zimbabwe and am familiar with word processing, spreadsheets and e-mail and have good communication and negotiation skills.
