Queen Agbonma Ehirim has over eight years experience in the Non Governmental organization sector with a major focus on community and grassroots advocacy in peace building, conflict resolution, sustainable development goals, women participation, youth empowerment, humanitarian activities and Tech/ICT. She is the national coordinator of Global Community Peace Network initiative, an NGO that focuses on peace building, community development, peace and conflict resolution and youth empowerment which she has been able to use to impact changes in communities. She has also worked, volunteer and collaborated with other NGOs in her field. She is a dynamic, team-spirited and results oriented individual that maintains excellent interpersonal communication, time management, and problem resolution skills. With her strong advocacy and networking skills, she has represented Nigeria in both national and international high level youth conferences and she is seen as one of Nigeria’s youth representative. She is a certified mediator from the institute of chartered mediator and conciliator Nigeria, an accredited mediator and conciliator from the institute of conflict management and leadership training institute, Calgary Canada, trained on conflict analysis and interfaith dialogue both from the United States institute of Peace and have been trained by the United Nations institute for Training and Research Geneva on both Cross Cultural Negotiation and Multilateral Conferences and Diplomacy. Her interest in rule of law, democratic governance gained her acceptance to been an Adhoc Staff for observers–for the Economic Community of West Africa States-ECOWAS at the 2011 Nigeria General elections and a state contact coordinator for domestic observer (Imo State) at the 2015 Nigeria General Elections. Queen Ehirim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, a Post Graduate Diploma in Political Science and Masters Degree in Legislative studies from the National institute for legislative studies (An arm of the Nigeria National Assembly). She is well informed and has been a member of many youth and advocacy groups where she held key positions both national and internationally, participated in several youth and nation building programs at both local and global levels. She is presently the Regional Focal Point-West and Central Africa- UN Major Group for Children and Youth on Humanitarian Affairs.
