Regina Valentine is a Juris Doctor graduate from the University of Baltimore School of Law with an interest in climate change and environmental litigation. She has worked with a team of skilled professionals, who have an in-depth knowledge of the non-profit field at ASIL, assisting with the organization of the mid-year and annual meetings, events which are pivotal to the functioning of the society. In law school, she took advantage of every opportunity to continue developing her knowledge and skills while working full time to pay for her education. She has taken several courses in International Law, including International Law and International Women’s Human Rights. In 2019, she completed a study abroad program in The Hague with the American University Washington College of Law. She participated in the 2021 Red Cross Clara Barton Virtual International Humanitarian Law competition, where the team received the award for Best Application. She has also participated in and obtained an International Arbitration Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators through a collaboration with Columbia Law School. Regina is adept at legal analysis, legal research, legal writing, and international publishing.
