Richa Goyal has 15 years of global experience in impact investing, philanthropy and research. As a Programme Manager at IKEA Foundation, she oversees renewable energy programmes across Sub-Saharan Africa, India and Indonesia. Her core competencies include grant management, strategic partnerships, research and policy analysis. She is passionate about how renewable energy can enable inclusive and resilient development, especially in the areas of regenerative agriculture and sustainable water management. Previously, she was the research co-lead for the Efficiency for Access (EforA) Coalition, where she contributed to several publications on topics such as linkages between energy access and regenerative agriculture, repair and repairability, appliance standards, and market assessment. She has also worked with various organizations such as the Schatz Energy Research Center, the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE), and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), on projects ranging from micro-grids to off-grid solar solutions. Richa's academic background is in economics, climate change, and energy policy.
