Summary

I am a primary care and public health physician with over 15 years of experience in Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (RMNCH), with expertise in birth preparedness, safe delivery, pregnancy outcomes, birth defects, PMTCT, family planning, and adolescent-friendly services. As a trained epidemiologist and public health researcher, I have led and supported diverse research and evaluation projects, designing surveillance systems and strengthening data-driven decision-making. My work is grounded in the goal of learning from past experiences to inform present actions and shape future strategies that advance health and well-being. With a strong background in strategic information, data analytics, and visualization, I focus on improving health data systems and leveraging technology for better outcomes. I have taught RMNCH and research methods at the graduate and undergraduate levels, supervised clinical internships, and built capacity among global health professionals. My experience includes extensive stakeholder engagement with international organizations, such as the WHO and UNAIDS, as well as philanthropic institutions like the Gates Foundation, government agencies, and civil society organizations. I bring a collaborative, analytical, and evidence-driven approach to program monitoring and evaluation, contributing to stronger health systems and sustainable impact.
