I am Counsel in the Legal Vice Presidency of the World Bank, working in the Structured Finance and Guarantees practice group. Previously, I worked in the Africa, MENA, and Asia practice groups. My experience at the World Bank spans over 20 countries, covering sectors as diverse as education, skills development, health, governance reform, public service delivery, energy and infrastructure. Prior to joining the World Bank, I was an associate in the corporate department of Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York. I am admitted to the NY Bar, and have an LLM (International Legal Studies) from New York University School of Law, and an LLB and Post-Graduate Diploma (Public Law) from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. My areas of research experience and writing include human rights law, constitutional law, transitional justice, and law and development.
