Summary

I hold a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from Free State University South Africa, SAP ERP certificate Materials Management SAP Global, Post graduate Advanced diploma in Chartered procurement and Logistics(CIPS) ,Post graduate Diploma in Projects Planning and Management, A Diploma in Chartered Logistics and Transport and a Bachelor of Science Honors’ degree in Politics and Administration. I am an accomplished international supply chain professional with extensive experience in downstream operations logistics, upstream logistics, public health supply chain systems strengthening and human resource capacity development. Over the past 18 years I have provided high-level logistics support in a variety of international organizations across multiple supply chains. This included quantification, forecasting, procurement, Cold chain management, warehousing, distribution, training and other supply chain functions in development areas. I have lead teams in supply chain and programme management in Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe and Malawi. I have vast experience in warehousing, capacity building, budgeting, grant management and systems strengthening. I have just completed an assignment with Crown Agents Sierra Leone as a Supply chain technical advisor (Deputy team leader) where I was technically advising on supply chain issues. I managed to created supply chain resilience with the Central Medical Stores in Procurement of health commodities, Demand planning, warehousing and distribution. I worked with key health partners such as Global Fund, UNICEF,WHO and other development partners I have supported the Ministry of Health Zimbabwe in supply chain laboratory support transition with Elizabeth Glazer AIDS foundation as a supply chain consultant. I also worked as a Cold chain logistics Officer with UNICEF Zimbabwe GAVI programme. I was technically advising the Ministry of health on immunization supply chain issues in Zimbabwe. I have worked with some of the major players spearheading public health in Africa in areas of supply chain transformation and capacity building and systems strengthening in several countries. Some of these players are Imperial Health Sciences (DFID project, Malawi), John Snow Inc. (USAID project, Zimbabwe), AEDES (Global Fund Project, Malawi), Crown Agents UK, (DFID project, Zimbabwe). These projects exposed me to vital project, operational and technical experience upstream and downstream logistics. Work experience has been gained in both long and short term employment in the aforementioned countries. Work in these countries involved designing and supporting the implementation of procurement and supply management systems for the USAID, Global Fund and DFID funded Anti-retroviral (ART), Tuberculosis, Nutrition and Prevention of Mother to Child programs. I have also supported programmes in systems strengthening in areas of quantification, human resource capacity building and distribution of health commodities to ensure robust supply chains. In addition, I have also worked in humanitarian logistics support in Zimbabwe with organizations such as World Relief International, Catholic Relief Services, Care International and Christian care.
